Suzanne Slayton-Milam, MD, FACOG

Suzanne is a board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist and also a native of Clark County. She completed her residency at St. Louis University and has been in private practice for over 20 years.

Suzanne has been involved with leadership roles at Legacy Salmon Creek Hospital by serving as Department Chair for Women & Children’s Services and also on the planning committee.

She enjoys cooking, gardening, and spending time with her husband and children.

Lisa Gibbons, DO, FACOOG

Lisa is a board certified obstetrician/gynecologist and an Oregon native. Lisa joined Cascadia in Sept. of 2005 after completing her residency at Ohio Health Doctors Hospital in Columbus Ohio.

Lisa enjoys running, jewelry beading, making art quilts, gourmet cooking, and spending time with her husband and children.

Mieke Lane, DO, FACOOG

Mieke (pronounced Meek-ah) is a board certified obstetrician/gynecologist originally from Topeka, Kansas. Mieke completed her residency at St. John Detroit Riverview in Detroit, Michigan and joined Cascadia in July of 2006.

As a newer northwest resident, Mieke enjoys exploring what it has to offer. Mieke has a special interest in Chinese language and culture, enjoys traveling, reading, listening to jazz, and cooking for friends and family.

Jessica Kam, DO

Jessie is an Obstetrician/Gynecologist and also is a Washington State native. She recently completed her residency at Kennedy University Hospital in Southern New Jersey.

Jessie enjoys hiking in the Northwest, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her family and friends.

Jennifer Guthrie, Certified Nurse Mid-Wife

Jen is a board certified nurse midwife.  She obtained her undergraduate nursing degree from Oregon Health Science University, then spent nearly 20 years working Labor and Delivery in a variety of settings ranging from low to high risk obstetrics. 

She received her graduate training at Georgetown University in midwifery and women's health.  Prior to joining Cascadia she worked as a CNM in the Portland area where she currently resides.   "My goal as a Certified Nurse Midwife is to use evidence based practice to partner with women to address health care needs that arise from adolescence through menopause.

In regards to prenatal care, whether your preference is an un-medicated birth, epidural, or if we need to collaborate with my physician colleagues when a complication arises, the intent of midwifery is always to partner with women and families to facilitate an individualized birth experience."

Lisa Holbrook, MD

Lisa is a board-certified family practice physician and has been in practice for over 15 years. She completed her residency at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona.

She enjoys playing ice hockey, hiking, scrapbooking, writing, and spending time with her husband and children.
