Jen grew up in Orlando, Florida, where she began her nursing career. She fell in love with Washington as an undergrad at the Evergreen State College. After college, she returned to Orlando and became a registered nurse in Labor & Delivery. She continued working in Labor & Delivery for 10 years, during which she obtained her Bachelor’s in Nursing from UCF.

She fulfilled her dream to become a Nurse Midwife in 2007 when she graduated from the University of Florida with a Master’s in Nursing and became certified in Nurse Midwifery by the American Midwifery Certification Board.

She is thrilled to be joining the team at Cascadia Women’s Health. Her focus is educating and enabling her patients to be participants in decisions about their health care. She feels especially privileged to be with families during pregnancy and childbirth. She plans to spend her spare time exploring the Pacific Northwest with her husband and daughters.
